Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices in Beloit, WI is seeking full-time Automotive Mechanics to join our team. You will inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide range of undercar repairs, including brakes, struts, and shocks, plus oil changes, fluid checks, and tire mounting/balancing.

Qualified applicants have at least 18 years old, are legally eligible to work in the United States, and bring 2 years of repair experience or training along with a personal toolbox. ASE certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Two years of automotive repair experience or training.
• Extensive toolbox of personal tools for undercar repairs.
• Preferred: state inspection license(s).
• Preferred: ASE Certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), Brakes (A5).

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide range of automotive services and undercar repairs.
• Complete state-m mandated inspections and routine maintenance (oil changes, fluids).
• Disassemble, mount, rotate, balance, and replace tires as needed.
