Job summary

Pep Boys / Mavis Tire is seeking experienced Automotive Mechanics to join Team Mavis at our service, repair, and tire centers in the Pottstown, PA area. This full-time role offers competitive weekly pay, a weekly incentive, and opportunities for career growth within the nation’s largest automotive service organization.

You will diagnose, repair, inspect, and service vehicles, including brakes, tires, and oil changes, while upholding our safety and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Have at least 2 years of automotive repair and maintenance experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Have the personal tools necessary to perform automotive and undercar repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform undercar repairs, including brakes, struts, shocks, suspension, and steering.
• Diagnose vehicle maintenance and repair needs.
• Perform oil and filter changes and check fluids.
• Replace worn or damaged parts.
• Complete state inspections, where applicable.
• Mount, rotate, and balance tires.
• Maintain Mavis standards for quality, safety, and customer service.
