Job summary

Tire Kingdom & Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices Automotive Mechanics is seeking full-time Automotive Mechanics to join Team Mavis at our Delray Beach, FL area service and retail tire center.

As leaders in undercar repairs, our mechanics inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of services including brakes, struts, shocks, oil changes, fluid checks and tire mounting/balancing. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance.
• State inspection license(s) preferred.
• ASE Certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5) preferred.
• Must be able to stand, bend, and lift items weighing over 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services on customers' vehicles.
• Perform undercar repairs including brakes, struts and shocks.
• Complete state-mandated inspections; change oil and filters; check fluids.
• Replace worn parts and dismount, mount, rotate and balance tires.
