Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices in the North Port, FL area is seeking full-time Automotive Mechanics to join Team Mavis at one of our modern service centers. You will inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide range of undercar repairs on customers' vehicles.

Duties include brakes, struts/shocks, oil changes, fluid checks, tire mounting/balancing, and state inspections. You’ll work with a toolbox of personal tools and benefit from a supportive environment and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States
• Must have 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair or equivalent
• Must possess an extensive toolbox of personal tools used in undercar repairs

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services on customers' vehicles.
• Perform undercar repairs including brakes, suspensions (struts/shocks), and related components.
• Complete state-mandated inspections, oil/filters, fluid checks, and part replacements; mount/dismount tires and balance as needed.
