Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices in the Jacksonville, FL area is seeking full-time Automotive Mechanics to join Team Mavis. You will inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide range of automotive services, including brakes, oil changes, and tire work at a busy service center.

You must be at least 18, legally authorized to work in the United States, and bring 2 years of automotive repair experience or training with an extensive personal tools set.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Possess 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance or any combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position
• Possess an extensive toolbox of personal tools used in performing undercar repairs

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services on customers' vehicles
• Perform undercar repairs including brakes, struts, shocks, and tire work
• Complete state-mandated inspections, change oil and filters, check fluids, replace worn parts, and dismount/mount/rotate/balance tires
