Job summary

Pep Boys is now part of the Mavis Tire family, and we’re expanding our team in the Chattanooga, TN area. We’re seeking experienced, full-time Automotive Mechanics to inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles at our service centers.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• At least 2 years of automotive repair and maintenance experience and/or training.
• Have the personal tools necessary to perform automotive and undercar repairs.
• Preferred ASE Certifications including G1, A4 and A5.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform automotive maintenance and repair services.
• Undercar repairs including brakes, struts, suspension and steering.
• Oil and filter changes and fluid checks.
• Replace worn or damaged parts; mount/rotate/balance tires.
• Complete state inspections where applicable.
• Maintain Mavis standards for quality, safety, and customer service.
