Job summary

Pep Boys, now part of the Mavis Tire family, is seeking experienced Automotive Mechanics for our Louisville, KY area centers. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair a variety of automobile systems to keep customers safely on the road.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States
• Have at least 2 years of automotive repair and maintenance experience and/or training
• Have the personal tools necessary to perform automotive and undercar repairs
• Preferred: State inspection license(s) and ASE Certifications (e.g., G1, A4, A5)

Responsibilities

• Perform undercar repairs, including brakes, struts, shocks, suspension, and steering
• Diagnose vehicle maintenance and repair needs
• Perform oil and filter changes and check fluids
• Replace worn or damaged parts
• Complete state inspections where applicable
• Mount, rotate, and balance tires
• Maintain Mavis standards for quality, safety, and customer service
