Job summary

Pep Boys / Mavis Tire in Boardman, OH is seeking experienced, full-time Automotive Mechanics to join Team Mavis at our service centers. As an Automotive Mechanic, you will inspect, diagnose, and perform maintenance and repairs, including brakes, tires, oil changes, suspensions, and state inspections where applicable.

• At least 2 years of automotive repair and maintenance experience or equivalent training.
• Must have personal tools for automotive repair.

Responsibilities

• Perform undercar repairs including brakes, suspensions, and steering.
• Diagnose vehicle maintenance and repair needs.
• Perform oil and filter changes and check fluids.
• Replace worn or damaged parts.
• Complete state inspections where applicable.
• Mount, rotate, and balance tires.
• Maintain Mavis standards for quality, safety, and customer service.
