Job summary

Mavis Tire in Absecon, NJ is seeking experienced Automotive Mechanics to join Team Mavis at our service, repair, and tire sales centers. This full-time role offers competitive weekly pay, a weekly incentive, and clear career growth opportunities.

As an Automotive Mechanic, you’ll inspect, diagnose, and perform maintenance and repairs, including brakes, suspension, oil changes, tire mounting and balancing, and inspections where applicable.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in automotive repair and maintenance or equivalent training
• Must have personal tools appropriate for automotive repair
• Preferred ASE certifications (G1, A4, A5)

Responsibilities

• Perform undercar repairs including brakes, suspension, and steering
• Diagnose vehicle maintenance and repair needs
• Perform oil and filter changes and check fluids
• Replace worn or damaged parts
• Complete state inspections where applicable
• Mount, rotate, and balance tires
• Maintain Mavis quality, safety and customer service standards
