Avis Budget Group is hiring an Automotive Mechanic (B Tech) in Livonia, MI to service Budget Truck vans and box trucks. You will perform oil changes, lubrication, tire repairs, brakes and suspension work, and warranty tasks under supervision, with opportunities to learn from senior technicians.

Requirements include a valid driver’s license, 2+ years auto repair experience, ASE certification (minimum 1, with potential for 2 more in year one), and the ability to lift 50 pounds.

• Valid Driver’s License (Class A, B, or C) required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a loud shop.

Responsabilidades

• Perform oil, fluid services and lubrication on moving vans and box trucks.
• Repair tires, brakes, suspension, and handle warranty-related tasks.
• Assist senior technicians with diagnostics and repairs.
• Drive Budget Truck on public roads for testing or verification when needed.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment and ensure vehicles are roadworthy.

Your responsibilities include oil and fluid services, lubrication, tire repairs, brake and suspension work, and warranty-related repairs based on your experience level.You may also assist senior technicians with more complex diagnostics and repair procedures as you continue to grow your skills.
