Job summary

Avis Budget Group is hiring an Automotive Mechanic (B Tech) in Grapevine, TX to service a fleet of moving vans and box trucks. You’ll perform oil changes, lubrication, tire, brake and suspension work, and warranty repairs with guidance from senior techs.

You may drive Budget Trucks for testing and verification as needed. We value at least 2 years of auto repair experience, ASE certification, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of professional auto repair experience.
• At least 1 ASE certification, with ability to obtain 2 additional within the first year.
• Valid Driver’s License (Class A, B, or C).
• DOT medical clearance must be obtainable.
• Comfortable in a mechanical shop; able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be 21+ and legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Perform essential mechanical repairs and maintenance on moving vans and box trucks.
• Oil and fluid services, lubrication, tire repairs, brake and suspension work.
• Warranty-related repairs based on experience level.
• Assist senior technicians with diagnostics and repairs.
• May drive a Budget Truck on public roads for testing or verification.

Your responsibilities include oil and fluid services, lubrication, tire repairs, brake and suspension work, and warranty-related repairs based on your experience level.You may also assist senior technicians with more complex diagnostics and repair procedures as you continue to grow your skills.
