Job summary

Tire Pros in Michigan is seeking a Service Technician to perform automotive service repairs and diagnostics. You will use computer systems and diagnostic equipment to identify and fix issues while keeping a clean, safe workspace. The role emphasizes customer satisfaction and ongoing growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively with customers, team members and management.
• Able to operate automotive tools including impact gun, sockets, wrenches and oil filter tools.
• Must stand/walk, bend, reach and lift up to 60 lbs for portions of the day.
• Must also lift/carry over 60 lbs and push/pull over 60 lbs for part of the shift.
• Ability to use computer and diagnostic equipment to diagnose and repair vehicles.

Job Summary

The Service Technician is responsible for technical automotive service repairs while ensuring high customer satisfaction. The Service Technician performs all mechanical related services. Must be able to use a computer and diagnostic equipment to diagnose and repair the vehicles. In addition, the Service Technician helps maintain a clean environment in the work area.

Desired Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with customers, associates and management
• Ability to use automotive tools including impact gun and sockets, standard/metric wrench and socket set, screwdriver, and oil filter tools
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, grip, handle, lift/ carry up to 60 pounds, and push / pull up to 60 pounds up to 2/3 of the workday.
• Must also have the ability to lift/carry over 60 pounds and push/pull over 60 pounds up to 1/3 of the workday.
• Preferred Experience:
  • Automotive courses in High School or Vocational Tech training
  • High School diploma or GED preferred
  • Preferred certification UTI, NASCAR or ASE certification
