Responsibilities

• Coordinate purchasing, distributing raw materials, equipment, machinery, and supplies to ensure uninterrupted production flow.
• Direct preparation and issuance of purchase orders and change notices.
• Analyze market and delivery conditions to determine material availability and timing.
• Review purchase orders and contracts for conformance to policy.
• Develop and implement systems for purchasing, scheduling, inventory control and traffic.
• Maintain visual inventory management systems on the production floor.
• Maintain BOM and databases to support manufacturing software.
• Drive continuous improvement in supplier performance and cost savings.
• Ensure on-time supplies to support production and shipments.
