Job summary

Brembo North America, located in Homer, MI, is seeking an experienced Materials Manager to lead procurement, scheduling, and expediting of parts and materials. The role oversees MRO stores and a diverse team to improve inventory, cost savings, and machining efficiency.

Responsibilities include coordinating with customers and program managers to ensure timely pilot requirements, while maintaining safety and quality commitments across the plant.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive manufacturing.
• Experience in Materials Management is required.

Responsibilities

• Establish production schedules and line changeovers.
• Use MRP to order raw materials to meet customer requirements.
• Develop and achieve inventory management targets.
• Maintain customer and vendor contacts.
• Monitor delivery performance to ensure on-time ratings.
• Oversee physical inventories and staff.
• Evaluate customer requirements and forecasts.
• Assess capacity, facilities, and availability.
• Lead and develop Materials Department staff.
• Coordinate with program managers for pilot/prototype delivery.
• Respect confidentiality of information.
• Adhere to Safety, Environmental, and Quality procedures.
