Napleton Toyota of Urbana is seeking an Automotive Master Technician to diagnose and repair vehicles to factory standards. You will build customer trust through accurate diagnosis and clear explanations while supporting a fast-paced service operation.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years’ experience and ASE certification, with access to premium tools and paid training. The position offers competitive pay, benefits, and career advancement opportunities within the Napleton group.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Master Technician.
• Ability to diagnose and repair multiple vehicle systems per dealer and factory standards.
• Willingness to undergo a background check per local regulations.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose and repair to specifications across brake/hydraulic, exhaust, fuel ignition, electrical, suspension and A/C systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and required repairs to customers and staff.
• Update technical skills through formal training to stay current with automotive technology.
• Keep management informed of mechanical repair issues as they arise.
• Maintain an organized and neat service bay.

Located atNapleton Toyota of Urbana,theMaster Technicianisresponsible for vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. This position will build Customer loyalty by developing trust and ensuring confidence in Napleton through effective vehicle diagnosis and repair.

Job Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Adequate explain technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers as required.
• Continuously update technical skills and techniques in formal training sessions to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology.
• Keep store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
• Maintains an organized and neat service bay

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Master Technician required.
• Ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is process-driven
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
