Job summary

Lydech Thermal Acoustic Solutions (TAS) in Novi, MI is seeking an FP&A Manager who will drive financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis for our automotive manufacturing operation. You will partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Commercial teams to deliver actionable insights that improve profitability and capital deployment.

The role requires 7+ years of finance experience in manufacturing, strong understanding of standard costing, and excellent Excel modeling

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field.
7+ years of progressive finance experience, including manufacturing FP&A.
Strong understanding of standard costing and variance analysis.
Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
Proven ability to partner with non-finance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead the annual budget, rolling forecast, and long-range plan for manufacturing.
Develop and maintain financial models covering production volumes and mix.
Analyze material, labor, and overhead costs; capex and depreciation.
Ensure alignment between S&OP and financial forecasts.
Partner with plant leadership to identify cost reductions and productivity opportunities.
Monitor automotive cost drivers including materials, scrap, yield, and capacity.
Prepare monthly financial reviews and KPI dashboards.
Coach FP&A analysts and drive forecasting accuracy.
