Job summary

Goodyear is hiring a Mid-Level Automotive Technician to gain hands-on experience diagnosing issues while delivering outstanding service in our Santa Clara, CA auto service centers.

You will work on brakes, alignments, and routine diagnostics, with opportunities for fast-paced advancement in a supportive team environment. Prior automotive experience and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of automotive experience including brake repairs, fluid flushes, and preventative maintenance.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform line technician services, routine inspections/maintenance, system diagnostics, and problem-solving.
• Brake repairs, fluid exchanges/flushes, preventative maintenance, wheel alignments, and tire installation.
• Demonstrate guest service and provide clear communication and feedback about vehicles.
• Document all work on the repair order and report safety issues to management.
