Job summary

Flex-N-Gate in Rockford, TN, is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 10:00 p.m.–6:30 a.m. shift to support our automotive manufacturing facility. You will perform predictive and preventative maintenance on complex machinery, troubleshoot issues, and document activities using plant software.

The role requires hands-on skills across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and 3–5 years of maintenance experience,

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
3–5 years of maintenance experience, automotive preferred.
Experience with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation systems.
Basic electrical troubleshooting and reading hydraulic/electrical prints.
Capable of basic fabrication and reading blueprints.
Proficient in documenting daily activities using computer software.
Able to work night shift and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on machinery and equipment.
Diagnose equipment issues to minimize downtime.
Document daily activities with computer software.
Operate overhead crane to transport equipment.
Support improvements addressing quality concerns or employee concerns.
Assist production to maintain high quality output.
Troubleshoot automation equipment and related software.
Read controls, drawings and design concepts.
Respond to maintenance emergencies and work overtime as needed.
Follow safety procedures and promote a safe workplace.
Perform other duties as assigned.
