Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. is hiring an entry-level Maintenance Technician in Matthews, NC. You will be part of a focused team servicing vehicles, with full and part-time benefits starting from day one and a tool program discount.

The position offers an hourly pay range of $12.54 to $18.81 and emphasizes compliance with fair compensation practices. Prior automotive service experience is preferred but not required, with on-the-job training and ASE certifications funded by the company.

Qualifications

• Entry level; learn to diagnose and repair basic automotive systems.
• Must have a valid driver's license at all times.
• Automotive service experience is preferred.
• Strong reading/writing/math skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn to diagnose and repair brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical.
• Perform oil changes and scheduled maintenance.
• Install and maintain tires.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Road test vehicles.

Position Summary

The Maintenance Technician is an entry level position in which you will be an integral part of a fantastic team servicing vehicles. Full and Part-time benefits available from day one – including tool program discounts. Pay Range: $12.54 - $18.81.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to diagnose and repair basic automotive including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical.
• Change oil and/or perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Install and perform tire maintenance.
• Install batteries, shock absorbers, and check electrical systems.
• Road test vehicles.

Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience in automotive service industry preferred.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.
