Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a maintenance technician to service field vehicles and ensure safety standards. You will perform oil changes, tire/brake work, lubrication, and minor part replacements, using the company’s pre-inspection toolkit.

The role involves occasional road tests, teamwork, and careful adherence to safety protocols in a hands-on environment. You may participate in a paid hands-on interview as part of the process.

Qualifications

Basic mechanical aptitude and repair experience preferred.
Driver’s license required.
Ability to work as part of a team or independently.
Basic computer skills helpful.
Regular attendance is expected.
Must work safely and stay alert at all times.
Able to lift 50 lbs or more with assistance or alone as needed.
Able to move, stand, sit, and move beneath equipment.
May need protective clothing or gear such as masks, safety shoes, goggles, gloves.
U-Haul prohibits nicotine use where state law applies.
