Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. in Forest Park, GA is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Technician to join a fantastic team. Full and part-time benefits are available from day one, including tool program discounts and training opportunities.

You'll diagnose and repair basic automotive systems, perform oil changes and tire maintenance, install batteries and shocks, and road test vehicles while earning $12.54–$18.81 per hour with potential ASE certification support.

Qualifications

  • Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
  • Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
  • Experience in automotive service industry preferred.
  • Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

  • Learn how to diagnose and repair basic automotive systems including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical.
  • Change oil and/or perform scheduled maintenance services.
  • Install and perform tire maintenance.
  • Install batteries, shock absorbers, and check electrical systems.
  • Road test vehicles.

Position Summary

The Maintenance Technician is an entry level position in which you will be an integral part of a fantastic team servicing vehicles. Full and Part-time benefits available from day one – including tool program discounts. Pay Range: $12.54 - $18.81.
