Job summary

Ford Lincoln of Lafayette is seeking an experienced Main Line Automotive Technician to join our growing service team. The ideal candidate will diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of vehicles with a strong focus on quality and safety. Ford or Lincoln certification is preferred, but qualified technicians from other OEMs are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of automotive repair experience required.
  • Ford or Lincoln certification preferred (other OEM experience considered).
  • Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and repair manuals.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and complex mechanical repairs on vehicles
  • Accurately complete repair orders in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards
  • Conduct test drives to verify repairs and ensure vehicle performance
  • Communicate effectively with Service Advisors regarding diagnostics, repairs, and timelines
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Stay current with factory training and certifications to maintain technical proficiency

Main Line Automotive Technician Responsibilities:
