Job summary

Porsche Norwalk, Norwalk, CA, is seeking an Hourly Technician to perform lubrication services and related repairs in a fast-paced dealership environment.

The role requires basic automotive knowledge, a high school diploma, and a valid driver's license. You will follow safety procedures and assist with standard maintenance tasks, with opportunities for apprenticeship and growth within the Porsche brand.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent
• May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty
• Requires 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area
• Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA
• All applicants must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner
• All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and valid driver license

Responsibilities

• Perform all lubrication services.
• Responsible for removing, installing, diagnosing, repairing, disassembling and assembling parts, components and engines
• Performs all duties according to safety procedures
• Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
• Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment
• Lubricate entire car while looking for other items which may need repair.
• Ensure that the customer’s car is kept clean.
