Job summary

Avis Budget Group is hiring an entry-level maintenance technician to service a fleet of newer vehicles at our Omaha location. You’ll perform oil changes, fluid checks, tire changes, and basic repairs under safe procedures, gaining skills across multiple brands and systems.

Ideal candidates have mechanical aptitude, some auto maintenance experience, and a willingness to learn. A valid driver's license and physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required; on-the-job training is provided, with

Qualifications

• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude or prior automotive maintenance experience is required.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and logging.
• Flexibility to work all shifts and meet shop needs.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for long periods.
• 18 years of age or older with legal work authorization in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on a fleet of vehicles: oil changes, fluid services, tire changes, tire rotations, and basic repairs.
• Work with a diverse fleet across multiple brands to gain exposure to different systems.
• Follow safety procedures and quality standards during all tasks.
• Assist senior technicians as experience grows and take on additional maintenance responsibilities as needed.
