Job summary

Castriota Chevrolet, Inc. is seeking an Automotive Lube Technician to perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks, ensuring vehicles stay in optimal condition.

The role emphasizes a strong customer service mindset and attention to detail in a busy shop environment. The successful candidate will assist other technicians, work flexible hours including weekends, and contribute to a clean, safe workplace while adhering to company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes and replace oil filters on various types of vehicles.
• Conduct tire rotations and checks for wear and tear.
• Check and replenish all automotive fluids, including coolant, transmission, power steering, and brake fluid.
• Inspect the engine, air filter, cabin filter, belts, and hoses to ensure they are in good working conditions.
• Provide excellent customer service, advising customers on the condition of their vehicle and any necessary repairs or maintenance.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all company policies and safety procedures.
• Assist other technicians with larger tasks when necessary.
