Job summary

Precision Tune Auto Care is seeking a dependable Lube Technician / C level Mechanic to join our team in Saint Joseph, MO. You will perform oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotations, and inspections while delivering excellent customer hospitality.

No experience? We train. Own basic hand tools required. Competitive pay $19–$23 per hour, closed Sundays, and opportunities to grow with an established automotive repair company.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive or lube technician experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
• Basic knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain active throughout the workday.
• Must take pride in providing quality work and a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, filter replacements, tire rotations, and other basic maintenance services
• Treat every customer and vehicle with care and respect
• Complete thorough vehicle inspections and accurately document findings
• Check and top off fluids
• Inspect belts, hoses, tires, brakes, and other safety-related components
• Clearly communicate vehicle concerns to the service advisor
• Assist technicians and service advisors as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Properly handle tools, equipment, and customer vehicles
• Follow all company procedures and safety standards
• Help keep vehicles moving through the shop efficiently
