Job summary

Pensacola Honda, a Sonic Automotive family dealership, is seeking a Lubrication Technician to lubricate cars quickly and thoroughly, coordinating with the Production Foreman to ensure smooth service flow.

Responsibilities include performing all lubrication services, inspecting battery, lights, and tires, maintaining equipment, handling repair orders, keeping cars clean, and following safety policies to protect staff and customers alike.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance.
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• Two years of experience as a technician’s helper or apprentice in an automobile dealership.
• All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA.
• All applicants must pass pre-employment testing including background checks, MVR, and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Perform all lubrication services.
• Review customer’s car for issues and refer needed repairs to the Service Advisor.
• Operate and maintain lubrication equipment.
• Handle repair orders from the Service Salesman or Production Foreman and service the lift.
• Lubricate the entire car and check for other items needing repair.
• Keep the customer’s car clean.
• Ensure equipment, especially lifts, is in proper working order.
• Use appropriate amounts of materials and supplies.
• Follow all safety policies and report incidents.
