Sonic Automotive is seeking a Lubrication Technician in Pensacola, FL. You will perform thorough lubrication work, inspect basic vehicle systems, and coordinate with the Production Foreman. Requirements include automotive repair knowledge, a valid driver’s license, and at least two years of related experience. Pre-employment testing and a clean MVR are expected as part of hiring.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Two years of experience as a technician’s helper or apprentice in an automobile dealership.
• Manual dexterity and good judgment.
• Authorized to work in the USA and able to pass pre-employment testing (background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report).

Responsibilities

• Perform all lubrication services.
• Inspect the vehicle’s systems (battery, lights, tires) and refer repairs to the Service Advisor.
• Operate and maintain lubrication equipment.
• Receive repair orders and service lifts as directed.
• Lubricate the entire car and ensure cleanliness.
• Adhere to safety policies and report accidents promptly.
