Job summary

Sonic Automotive seeks a Lubrication Technician at our Florida dealership. You will perform lubrication services, inspect vehicles for additional repairs, and coordinate with the Production Foreman and Service Advisor to ensure efficient, safe service.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to operate lubrication equipment, and a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction. This is a hands-on, fast-paced position in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a technician’s helper or apprentice in an automobile dealership.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA.
• Must demonstrate manual dexterity and good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Perform all lubrication services.
• Inspect customer cars (battery, lights, tires) and refer repairs to Service Advisor.
• Operate and maintain lubrication equipment.
• Receive repair orders and service lifts.
• Lubricate vehicles and identify other repair needs.
• Keep the customer’s car clean and driving equipment in good condition.
• Ensure lifts and tools are safe and properly used.
• Follow all safety policies and report accidents immediately.
