Job summary

DARCARS of Silver Spring is seeking an Automotive Lube Technician to join our service team. This entry-level role focuses on basic maintenance like oil changes, tire rotations, and routine inspections, with emphasis on teamwork and attention to detail. You should be eighteen or older, have a valid driver's license with a clean record, and own basic tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, balancing tires and battery testing.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance.
• Complete multi-point inspection forms on each vehicle.
• Apply manufacturer training and guidance from management.
• Ensure customers' vehicles are returned in good condition or better.
• Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training and programs.
• Continuously update knowledge on new technologies.

DARCARS of Silver Springis now hiring an Automotive Lube Technician!

As an entry-level Automotive Lube Technician, you will be responsible for performing basic vehicle maintenance tasks. This role requires strong teamwork skills and the ability to efficiently handle repetitive tasks with attention to detail.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Automotive technical school certifications preferred but not required
• Have excellent prior work or school attendance
• Have a positive attitude and be a team player
• Must be at least eighteen years of age
• Must have a valid driver’s license and safe driving record
• Must have basic tools
• Must pass pre-employment screening (background)

In this role, you will:

• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, balancing of tires and battery testing
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance
• Makes accurate use of the multi-pointinspection form on each vehicle
• Utilizes product and technical training as assigned by the manufacturer and management
• Takes care to ensure that customer vehicles are returned to them in the same condition or better than when brought in
• Participates in manufacturer-sponsored training, programs and schools.
• Continuously expand your knowledge for new technologies and practice
