Job summary

Rohrman Automotive Group in Indiana is seeking an Express Technician / Lube Technician to join our service department. We offer training for motivated individuals and value dependable, detail-oriented team players who want to learn from experienced technicians.

Responsibilities include oil changes, tire rotations, inspections, and reporting needed services, with opportunities for growth and mentorship in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive maintenance is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and deliver quality work.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
• Inspect tires, brakes, batteries, belts, and hoses for wear and defects.
• Complete multi-point inspections and report needed services.
• Assist with basic maintenance and preventatives as needed.
• Follow manufacturer guidelines and dealership procedures to ensure quality work.
• Keep a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Collaborate with experienced techs and service advisors for efficient workflow.

Express Technician / Lube Technician

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with vehicles, takes pride in their work, and wants to learn from experienced technicians. Automotive experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person!

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance services, including oil and filter changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
• Inspect vehicle components, including tires, brakes, batteries, belts, and hoses.
• Complete multi-point vehicle inspections and report any recommended services or concerns.
• Assist with basic maintenance and preventative repairs as needed.
• Follow manufacturer guidelines and dealership procedures to ensure quality work.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Work alongside experienced technicians and service advisors to keep vehicles moving efficiently through the service department.
• Attend training and continue developing automotive knowledge and technical skills.

Requirements

• A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
• Previous automotive, oil change, or maintenance experience is preferred but not required.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and an interest in working on vehicles.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Reliable attendance and a team-oriented mindset.
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift as required for the position.
