Job summary

Sames Auto Group in Corpus Christi, TX is seeking an Automotive Technician – Level C (Lube Technician). This entry-level position provides hands-on training while performing basic maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections.

You will learn to use tools, follow dealership procedures, and document work in the service system, with a focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction; bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.

Qualifications

• Entry-level role; prior automotive experience helpful but not required.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent (or currently pursuing).
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English; bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance services, including: Oil and filter changes
• Tire rotations and tire pressure checks
• Fluid inspections and top-offs
• Battery testing and replacement
• Basic vehicle inspections
• Assist B- and A-Level Technicians with vehicle preparation and shop support tasks.
• Conduct multi-point inspections and report findings accurately.
• Learn proper use of tools, equipment, and service manuals.
• Follow safety guidelines and dealership procedures at all times.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Participate in training programs and skill development
• Document completed work accurately in dealership systems
• Perform other duties as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS
