Job summary

Group 1 Automotive is seeking an Automotive Lube Technician at Ford/Lincoln of Shreveport to perform lubrication services and vehicle inspections. You will work with a team to ensure safe, efficient maintenance and uphold company standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver license, and knowledge of automotive systems. You will use basic hand and power tools, follow shop procedures, and participate in a positive customer experience in a fast-paced service

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Valid driver license required.
Basic understanding of automotive systems (engine, brakes, tires, fluids).
Ability to perform routine maintenance services including oil and filter changes, tire rotation, fluid checks and top-offs, battery testing and replacement.
Familiarity with basic hand and power tools and following shop procedures.

Responsibilities

Perform all lubrication services safely, including oil changes, transmission fluids and filters.
Check customer vehicle systems and refer needed repairs to Service Advisor.
Operate and maintain lubrication equipment.
Keep vehicle clean and shop organized.
Comply with safety policies and procedures.
Ensure equipment (lifts, tools) are in proper working order.
Demonstrate company values in all interactions with customers and coworkers.
