AUTOMOTIVE LUBE & OIL TECHNICIAN

THE POSITION: Lube & Oil Technician is responsible for performing lube-related services for customers in a professional and efficient manner.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensure customer satisfaction through quality service.
  • Determine management, production, and quality requirements by asking questions and listening.
  • Attend company meetings as required.
  • Maintain a follow-up system to ensure project completion.
  • Set personal performance goals aligned with company standards and develop strategies to achieve them.
  • Review and analyze daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly actions to improve efficiency.
  • Stay updated on business terminology, technology changes, and legal requirements.
  • Follow lawful directions from supervisors and adhere to work rules and procedures.
  • Participate in performance management processes.
  • Interact positively with colleagues and contribute to employee morale.
  • Uphold confidentiality policies.
  • Perform lube oil filter services professionally and conduct vehicle inspections as needed.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain equipment and work area in a safe, clean, and organized manner.
  • Receive and complete service assignments efficiently.
  • Finish 'lube' work within allotted time, set goals, and improve skills continuously.
  • Ensure vehicle cleanliness after service.

Physical Requirements

  • Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Occasionally required to walk, sit, talk, and hear.
  • Frequently lift/move up to 25 pounds; occasionally lift up to 100 pounds.
