Job summary

O'Meara GMC in Colorado is hiring entry-level lot technicians to join our family-owned dealership near I-25 and 104th Ave.

You will keep lots neat, inspect vehicles for damage and confirm accessory presence, record damages and missing items, and move cars between service areas and lots to support dealership display standards. Applicants must be 18 or older, have a valid driver's license and an acceptable MVR; this day-shift position offers growth opportunities and employee pricing on vehicles.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with three years of driving history.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and an acceptable MVR.
• Position requires standing and walking for entire shifts; ability to bend and reach.

Responsibilities

• Keeps new and used vehicle lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by the General Sales Manager and in accordance with dealership display standards.
• Inspects vehicles to detect damage and to verify the presence of accessories listed on the invoice.
• Records the description of damages and lists missing items on the delivery receipt.
• Drives vehicles to and from service areas, overflow lots, and parking lot as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

We are a 4th generation, Colorado family owned and operated auto dealer group, including O'Meara Ford, O'Meara Volkswagen and O'Meara Buick GMC, all at I-25 and 104th Ave. We are currently hiring for lot technicians. If you are looking for an entry level position to get your foot in the door for a career in the automotive industry, this position may be for you.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8-hour shift
• Day shift
