Job summary

AutoNation is seeking an energetic Porter to maintain the vehicle lot and support the sales team across the dealership. You will move units, transport customers and staff, and assist with deliveries while ensuring vehicles remain clean and display-ready.

You will handle windows stickers, storage transfers, and general site maintenance, contributing to a smooth showroom and lot operation while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of basic automotive repair and maintenance.
• Ability to handle machinery safely.
• Ability to drive across surrounding states to transport vehicles.
• Ability to drive manual transmission.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Ability to operate an automobile.

Responsibilities

• Keep vehicle lot neat and orderly and move units per sales managers’ directions.
• Transport customers and dealership personnel as needed.
• Assist with customer deliveries.
• Ensure vehicles are clean and in good repair on lot/showroom.
• Ensure window stickers are properly placed on new arrivals.
• Pickup and deliver vehicles between storage and dealerships.
• Assist with weather-related cleanup and grounds maintenance.
• Work on special projects as assigned.
