Job summary

AutoNation – New Porter role focused on supporting the sales and service teams by greeting callers, keeping the lot organized, and transporting vehicles as needed. You will ensure vehicles are clean, properly displayed, and ready for showroom or lot display, contributing to a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities include assisting with deliveries, window sticker placement, and occasional cross-state driving.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance.
• Ability to handle machinery safely.
• Valid state driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to drive across surrounding states to transport vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Answering phones and greeting callers in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Keep the vehicle lot neat and orderly, move units as directed by sales managers, follow display standards.
• Transport customers and dealership personnel as needed.
• Assist with customer deliveries.
• Ensure vehicles are clean and in good repair on lot and showroom.
• Place window stickers on freshly arrived vehicles for display.
• Pickup and deliver vehicles to storage and other dealerships.
• Assist with weather-related clean up when necessary.
• Perform building and grounds maintenance as needed.
• Take on additional tasks or special projects as assigned.
