Job Description

The Lot Porter is responsible for maintaining a clean and well-organized New and Used Vehicle area.

Skills & Qualifications
  • Current, Valid Driver’s license; satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) Required.
  • Ability to complete tasks independently as well as with a team.
  • Good work ethic, organized, and positive attitude are a must.
Education and Experience
  • No retail experience necessary.
  • High school diploma or the equivalent.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Keep the vehicle lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by management and in accordance with display standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness of inventory vehicles.
  • Clean interior and exterior of vehicles, including trunks and glove compartments.
  • Police dealership grounds.
  • Follow policies and procedures as set in Employee Handbook.
  • Wear company-approved uniform.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements
  • Work environment is usually loud.
  • Frequently required to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, and handle tools.
  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
  • Work near moving mechanical parts.
  • Potential exposure to battery acid, gasoline, chemicals, and toxic materials.
  • Exposure to exhaust fumes and airborne particles.
