Job summary

Vaden Chevrolet Pooler is seeking a dependable Lot Porter to join our growing team. This full-time role helps keep the vehicle lot organized, clean, and ready for display, while moving vehicles between departments to support sales and service teams.

You will participate in vehicle preparation, safety procedures, and daily inspections, with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits. Valid driver's license and a positive, team-oriented attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and willingness to assist multiple departments.
• Previous dealership or automotive experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Move and park vehicles safely and efficiently throughout the lot and service areas.
• Maintain the organization and cleanliness of new and used vehicle inventory.
• Assist with vehicle preparation, including washing, fueling, and light detailing as needed.
• Support the sales team by staging vehicles for display, delivery, and test drives.
• Transport vehicles between departments, off-site locations, and customer pick-ups as directed.
• Perform basic vehicle inspections and report any damage or concerns to management.
• Ensure the lot, showroom, and display areas remain clean, professional, and presentable.
• Assist with additional tasks as assigned.
• Follow all safety procedures, driving policies, and company guidelines.
