Job summary

Jim Browne Chevy GMC in Dade City seeks a Lot Manager to organize and maintain our car lot for an efficient, visually appealing display. You will manage vehicle inventory, ensure proper labeling and documentation, and shuttle cars between facilities to support operations.

The role requires endurance working outdoors, attention to detail, and the ability to operate both automatic and manual transmissions. A strong focus on safety and organization will help maximize showroom impact.

Responsibilities

• Arrange new and pre-owned vehicle inventory for maximum visual appeal and car park efficiency.
• Maintain neat, clean, and hazard-free display lots, walkways, and customer parking areas.
• Ensure all vehicles display proper stock tags, buyer’s guides, addendums, and window stickers.
• Conduct periodic physical inventory counts and log vehicle locations.
• Perform daily start-ups and basic checks on inventory.
• Drive and shuttle vehicles between the reconditioning center, detail shop, service bays, and front-line display lots.

Description

• Arrange new and pre-owned vehicle inventory for maximum viasual appeal and car park efficiency.
• Maintain neat, clean, and hazard-free display lots, walkways, and customer parking areas.
• Ensure all vehicles display proper stock tags, buyer’s guides, addendums, and window stickers.
• Conduct periodic physical inventory counts and log vehicle locations
• Perform daily start-ups and basic checks on inventory
• Drive and shuttle vehicles between the reconditioning center, detail shop, service bays, and front-line display lots

Qualifications

• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and standing, walking, or lifting up to 50+ pounds throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and time management
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual (stick shift) transmissions safely.
