Johnson Genesis of Cary has an exciting opportunity to expand its team with the addition of a Full-Time Automotive Lot / Inventory Specialist. We are seeking a friendly, goal-oriented individual with a positive attitude to fill this open position immediately!

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

• Keep the dealership lot neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by management and in accordance with dealership display standards;
• Park vehicles in assigned areas;
• Maintain order on the dealership lot to maximize space;
• Catalog and store keys;
• Tag vehicles as necessary;
• Ensure required forms/stickers are completed and properly displayed;
• Verify the presence of accessories listed on the invoice, such as spare tires and stereo equipment;
• Inspect cars to detect damage;
• Record descriptions of damages and list missing items on delivery receipts;
• Assist the sales department and management as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• No experience necessary;
• Maintain excellent customer service skills;
• Be detail-oriented and have effective verbal and listening communication skills;
• Meet the company's requirements for employment;
• Possess the ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds;
• Work in various weather conditions;
• Stand and/or walk for long periods;
• Work hours: 9 AM - 6 PM, Monday to Friday (with one day off), and 8:30 AM - 5 PM every Saturday;
• Starting pay: $18.00 per hour.
