Job summary

Sport Automotive is seeking an energetic, reliable Automotive Lot Attendant / Porter in Silver Spring, MD. You will move, park, and organize service vehicles across the lot, keep the shop area clean, and transport vehicles between locations. The role emphasizes safety, customer interaction, and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and a customer-first mindset.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow safety procedures closely.

Responsibilities

• Move, park, and organize service vehicles across dealership lots to maximize space and efficiency.
• Keep the main shop area clean, organized, and free of hazards to support service department efficiency.
• Transport vehicles to and from off-site storage lots, detail bays, paint shops, or satellite locations safely.
• Greet arriving service customers, install protective covers, and retrieve finished vehicles promptly.
• Help keep the service drive, drive-in reception areas, and service entrance & shop clean, clear, and free of debris.
