Automotive Porter Lot Attendant

The Automotive Porter Lot Attendant is responsible for performing various duties related to the maintenance and service of vehicles. This position interacts daily with Product Specialists, Service Managers, Sales Managers, support staff, and customers. The goal of a Porter Lot Attendant is to ensure that our customers are 100% satisfied with the delivery of their car.

Responsibilities of the Porter Lot Attendant:

  1. Lead yourself and the team in a manner that supports our Company Vision and Mission.
  2. Remove vehicle protective coverings and ID tags before returning the vehicle to the customer.
  3. Inspect vehicles for stains, debris, and damages before returning to the customer; report any damage immediately.
  4. Clean the interior and exterior of new and used vehicles.
  5. Maintain the vehicle lot in a neat and orderly fashion, moving units as directed and according to dealership display standards.
  6. Pick up and deliver vehicles to and from storage.
  7. Test batteries of customer vehicles in the service drive.
  8. Maintain the building and grounds as needed.
  9. Assist with shop clean-up and deliveries when required.

Skills and Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to handle machinery safely.
  • Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to operate an automobile.

  • Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • Knowledge, skills, and abilities as required.
