Global Expedited Transportation Freight Corp. (GET Freight) seeks an Operations Specialist / Supervisor to lead day-to-day transportation, yard, shuttle, and onsite logistics for Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America.

You will coordinate drivers, schedules, and equipment to ensure uninterrupted production flow and compliance with DOT/OSHA standards. The role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication, and a track record of optimizing production logistics in a fast-paced automotive

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 5 years of transportation, logistics, manufacturing logistics, or yard operations experience.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory, lead, or team leadership experience.
• Working knowledge of DOT, OSHA, and transportation safety regulations.
• Experience supervising hourly employees in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and shift coverage when required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily shuttle, yard, switching, and internal transportation operations.
• Coordinate driver assignments, trailer utilization, and transportation schedules.
• Monitor trailer inventory, yard activities, dock operations, and asset movements.
• Ensure timely movement of parts and production materials between warehouses and production areas.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to prevent disruptions.
• Act as shift leader during manager absences and provide safety discussions.
• Coordinate with customer representatives and plant personnel to resolve issues and ensure delivery accuracy.
