Job summary

Collateral Recovery Team LLC in San Antonio, TX is seeking a highly skilled automotive locksmith to handle high-volume key decoding, cutting, and programming at our yard. This is production work with a steady flow of vehicles and no retail or roadside tasks.

You'll work on domestic vehicles (Ford, GM, Chrysler) and select imports, performing keys lost, lock decoding, transponder and proximity key programming, and immobilizer tasks. Lishi proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency with Lishi tools.
• Ability to identify & select the correct Lishi tool per vehicle.
• Solid understanding of transponder systems and compatible key selection.
• Working knowledge of immobilizer systems (Ford, GM, Toyota, Chrysler, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Decode and cut keys for high-volume production on-site.
• Program transponder and proximity keys when all keys are lost.
• Perform immobilizer-related tasks on domestic and select imports.
• Maintain accurate documentation and work flow in a warehouse environment.

Automotive Locksmith Needed – San Antonio Location
Repo Lot | High Volume | $100K+ Potential

We are seeking a highly skilled automotive locksmith to handle high-volume key decoding, cutting, and programming at our yards in San Antonio, TX. This is not retail locksmithing or roadside work — this is consistent, on-site production work with a steady flow of vehicles.

If you can’t confidently decode with Lishi, this position is not for you.

Position Overview

You will work directly on domestic vehicles (Ford, GM, Chrysler, etc.) and select imports (Toyota, Nissan, etc.), performing all keys lost, lock decoding, transponder & proximity key programming, and related immobilizer tasks.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency with Lishi tools (standard cut & high-security)
• Ability to identify & select the correct Lishi tool per vehicle
• Solid understanding of transponder systems and compatible key selection
• Working knowledge of immobilizer systems (Ford, GM, Toyota, Chrysler, etc.)
• Ability to cut/program transponder and proximity keys when all keys are lost
• Comfortable working outdoors and in warehouse environments
• Able to follow direction, work independently, and stay focused
• Basic typing/writing skills for documentation

Job Details

• Locations: San Antonio, TX
• Schedule: Weekdays, with optional weekend key cutting
• Pay: ~$70K+ annually plus bonuses for locksmiths who meet requirements
