Job summary

Search Masters, Inc. is seeking an experienced mechanical designer to lead the design, prototyping, and launch of next-generation vehicle lighting solutions for major OEM customers.

Design and develop mechanical components for advanced lighting products from concept through production, guiding projects through quoting and production readiness. Collaborate cross-functionally with electrical and optical design engineers, perform GD&T analysis, tolerance studies, and maintain comprehensive BOM

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in automotive or plastics.
• BS degree in engineering; ME/MET/Plastics preferred.
• Experience with GD&T and tolerance analyses required.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, prototyping, and launch of vehicle lighting components.
• Develop mechanical parts from concept through production.
• Guide projects through quoting and production readiness with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with electrical and optical engineers for successful launches.
