Arnold Motor Supply LLP is seeking an Automotive Lift Inspection Technician to join our team. You will inspect automotive vehicle lifts, document findings, and communicate results with customers and colleagues.

Travel throughout Iowa and bordering states is involved as part of service calls. Candidates should have mechanical experience, strong attention to detail, and solid communication skills to maintain our high standard of customer service.

Qualifications

• Prior automotive, mechanical, equipment service, inspection or related experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to understand mechanical systems.
• Precise attention to detail to identify issues and safety concerns.
• Professional communication by phone and email.
• Ability to work independently or in a team with high self-direction.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections of automotive vehicle lifts and related equipment.
• Identify and document inspection findings clearly.
• Communicate inspection results and recommend repairs or maintenance.
• Follow safety procedures, standards and manufacturer specs.
• Build and maintain customer relationships to deliver high service levels.
• Continually learn about lifts, mechanical systems and safety standards.
