Job summary

Auto Systems Centers, part of the Mavis Tire family, seeks an Automotive Lead Technician for its Newton, NJ facility. The role involves diagnosing and performing brake, suspension, and routine maintenance, plus tire mounting/balancing and oil changes.

A 5-day work week with strong bonus potential supports earning up to $150K annually based on performance. Requirements include 2+ years' repair experience, a valid driver's license, and a willingness to obtain ASE certification.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of automotive repair experience or an equivalent education/training.
• A valid driver's license is required; ASE certification is a bonus.
• Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend and lift items over 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform automotive mechanical services including brakes, struts, shocks, and routine maintenance.
• Complete state inspections and change oil/filters.
• Dismount, mount, rotate, and balance tires.
• Check fluids and replace worn parts.
