Job Summary

The Lead Technician role requires diagnosing drivability and electrical systems, leading and mentoring a team to enhance customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair brake, hydraulic, exhaust, fuel, electrical, suspension, air conditioning, and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and repairs to customers.
• Engage in continuous training to stay current with automotive technology.
• Assist and train technicians in technical tasks.
• Obtain or maintain A.S.E. certifications within two years, with company support for exams.

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Skilled in brakes, alignment, steering, suspension, and general automotive maintenance.
• Relevant federal, state, or local certifications/licenses.
• Ability to communicate technical info clearly.
• Strong reading, writing, and math skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of electrical/electronic systems, engine repair, transmission, heating/AC, etc.
• 5+ years of automotive repair experience or vocational training.
• ASE certifications in multiple areas preferred.
