Position Summary

The Lead Technician uses their expertise to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while leading and mentoring a team to improve customer satisfaction.

Pay Range

$21.06 - $40.81, based on performance and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair brake, hydraulic, exhaust, fuel, electrical, suspension, air conditioning, and computer systems.
• Explain technical issues to customers clearly.
• Stay current with automotive technology through ongoing training.
• Assist and train team members.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within two years, with company support for exams.

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive company and customer vehicles.
• Skilled in brakes, alignment, suspension, maintenance, and tire repair.
• Relevant federal, state, and local certifications/licenses.
• Good communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of electrical systems, engine repair, performance, transmissions, heating/AC.
• At least 5 years of automotive repair experience or vocational training.
• ASE certifications in multiple areas preferred.
